Transition Alliance Program (TAP) students have been volunteering to pack food for families in need in Sioux City.
For the past two years, the Sioux City Community School District has partnered with a local church to pack food boxes that are then available to anyone in the community who needs them. Transition Alliance Program (TAP) students helped pack 80,000 pounds of food in 2021.
In recognition of their hard work and dedication, the Sioux City Food Bank named the church and students their Food Vendor of the Year.
