Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services (IVRS) is an employment program for individuals who experience a disability.We focus on service delivery that helps people prepare for, get, keep, and advance in employment. If you have been determined eligible, IVRS is an individualized program. It delivers employment services based on your unique individualized employment plan.Our goal is two parts. The first part is employment for our job candidates that meets their needs and interests. The second part is meeting the needs of our business partners.We approach what we do in collaboration. We team up with our job candidates, business partners, community providers, and One Stop Core Partners.We have an increasing presence in Iowa high schools. We bring transition services for students with disabilities. This is to prepare a new Future Ready Iowa Workforce.IVRS is Iowa’s state vocational rehabilitation program. It is a division of the Iowa Workforce Development (IWD). We are a part of the state-federal vocational rehabilitation system.
